About

Bow for Bowser was formed under the leadership of Bre’Onna Marie Bowser. Bowser is a young up and coming fashion designer and seamstress, who plans to take over the fashion industry, one city at a time... starting with Detroit, MI. Bowser wanted to keep her family maiden name thriving strong for future generations. When deciding the name for her company, Bowser wanted to incorporate her love for developing all women into "Queens". When you see a queen, you bow right? That is what is what you will do when you see someone where a "Bow for Bowser" piece, because you bow for royalty. Today, Bow for Bowser has a growing clientele and will be expanding globally by the year 2025.

Our Designer

Bre'Onna Bowser is a Detroit native that has always had a love for fashion and always dreamed of becoming a designer one day. Dreams really do come true right? Bowser shared her love for design with the world at a very young age. She was only about 10 years old when she received her first sewing machine from her Grandmother, who played an active role in her craft. Bowser started off making clothes for her dolls, which gave her practice for the real things to come in the future. Bowser then went on to making her first from- scratch garment adult-sized  at age 17.

Bowser received her Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Development from Oakland University, planning to implement her education background into her business. When asked why she did not take up Fashion Design in school during an interview, Bowser responded saying "I didn't really feel I needed to. I'm not saying that I know all there is to know about designing clothing, but I just feel that true passion and talent cannot be taught."  Bowser did however share interest in going back to school for her Masters Degree and possibly studying design. Driven right?

Bowser is eager to grow and is constantly perfecting her craft. One thing that has always been a struggle for Bowser, however, was her thrive for patience. Bowser stated, "I have the hardest time with believing in myself sometimes. I'm a strong believer in the Lord and I know he would not have blessed me with this talent if it was not meant for me to use it; I mean, I know I am good at what I do, but I often don't believe it. That mainly comes from not being at a certain point in my life where I "think I should be" compared to others that are in the industry. I've always had to have things happen right now and at that very moment in order for me to have self validation, but I have learned to trust in the old saying "good things come to those who wait". Patience definitely is a virtue. " With dreams of one day being apart of New York Fashion Week, Bowser states, "I will be there next year- BOW FOR BOWSER will be there next year. Just watch!"

Bow for Bowser has a lot in store for the fashion industry. Bowser is currently in the process of seeking a store front home in the Metro Detroit Area in the coming year. By 2025, Bowser plans to have 5 locations nationwide. So keep your eyes open and stay tuned!
